I went for the Gold once again and finished putting the blocks together for Solana's string quilt. It took a little longer than I thought it would thanks to my cutie Ella. You can see her toes in the picture. She likes to sit on my lap while I am sewing and put her hands on mine while I am guiding the fabric under the presser foot. It is too cute and I must take a picture of it sometime. I have to enjoy these moments while they last right?
This weekend I hope to get a lot more accomplished. I think I might embroider all day tomorrow. Who needs clean clothing or anything else to eat other than peanut butter and jelly? I'm sure they won't mind right?

Oh how lovely! I think it wins the gold!
Beautiful!

I am seriously loving that quilt and having been thinking about doing a black and white one with a color accent as well. Yours is an inspiration.

Solana's quilt is beautiful! You did a great job picking out fabrics and putting it together.
