Well, here it is, the quilt I made for DQS #7. I hope my partner likes it. I know I do and I have started one for myself.
The quilt is totally inspired by Kathy from Pink Chalk Studio. I love the little hot pads she made for the gift edition of "Quilting Arts magazine. My partner said she liked Christmas, so I decided to make something she could use during the holidays. I had fun with the stars in the background and I really like using the decorative stitches on my sewing machine.

Love the stars quilted in the background. I am making myself get back into quilting! Instead of playing games on my laptop, I'm working on a Grandma's Garden quilt. It's the first hand-pieced quilte I've ever done. I'm a long way from being a grandmother, but maybe I'll finish before then.
