Last week was quite the busy week! I am finally able to post a picture of my Mom's finished quilt. The front is your basic 10" squares. I made the quilt based around this owl fabric that I purchased on Etsy. The rest of the fabric is from my stash.
Even though I knew I wanted to have the quilt completed by Tuesday afternoon when my Mom came out surgery, I lived on the edge and decided to try a zig zag design on the back of the quilt. What was I thinking?! This was my first time trying this pattern. I must say it took A LOT more time than I thought it would, but I like how it turned out and will have to at least make a baby quilt using the zig zag design.
I love it! The color combination is just great and the zig-zag on the back is a perfect addition. Great job!
