Healing
My surgery went well and I am healing just fine. I went back to work last Monday. It is amazing what they can do in terms of surgery these days. Only four incisisons. Three in the upper torso and one in the belly button. They pull the gallbladder out through the belly button. Cool huh? I took it really easy the first week and pretty much all of last week. I have a desk job (I do purchasing) and besides playing catch up, that wasn't too bad.
I still can't lift anything over 20 pounds, so that means not even Ella. I sit down and have her crawl up on my lap or I have Bill or one of the girls put her on my lap. I can't miss out on one second of snuggling with my baby. The two older girls have been and tremendous help and so have my Mom, sister and neighbor. I couldn't have made it through the last couple of weeks without everyone's help.
Thanks for everyone's help and thoughts and prayers. You all are the best!
Besides the removal of my gallbladder, I have had a lot of other things going on. I hope to play catch up a bit and update you all on all of that.
